PLACEMENT CELL : IILM - CET

"Educating youth without placements is of no use today". The Institute’s responsibility simply doesn t cease after equipping its students with the necessary managerial skills. The Institute strives to place its students in the best of the industries. Special emphasis is laid on Placements and Career Development. The Institute boasts of a full-fledged Placement & Career Development Cell, headed by a full-time Training & Placement Officer (TPO). The TPO is assisted by a team of students (Student s Committee on Placements), group of our faculty (Career Development Cell) and experts drawn from the Industry. The Cell serves as an interface to establish the best fit between the students and the corporate entities. Its goal is to primarily identify prospective employers, their requirement in terms of skill sets and develop the same in our students.
  Help prospective employers reach out to our students to meet their personnel needs.
  Help students identify employers according to their interests and competencies. · Build in the students the   competencies that are of value to the prospective employers, both in contemporary as well as future   perspective;
  Help prospective employers articulate their human resources needs (the job profiles, and trainee s profile)   and accordingly prepare and recommend students for internship and placement.
  Students from the graduating batch who have a best-fit with organization s needs (both with skills and   attitude) are identified and their detailed resumes are forwarded to the companies for further processing.

Our Social Involvement for the Social Welfare and Development...
 
We are going to organise a Blood Donation Program through the T & P Cell. This blood donation program is being organised in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society.
The Indian Red Cross is a voluntary humanitarian organization having a network of over 700 branches throughout the country, providing relief in times of disasters/emergencies and promotes health & care of the vulnerable people and communities. It is a leading member of the largest independent humanitarian organization in the world, the International Red Cross & Red Crescent Movement.

CET - IILM is working with Rotary Club to organise the Cleaning of Rivers, Safe Water, Save Water, Tree Plantation etc.; We have made a Rotary Club here at the CET-IILM for the students. We are also getting help regarding social welfare activites that how we can take initiative and work out the planned activities. We have formed a group of student to participate in the social welfare activites under supervisiton of Rotary Club. Rotary International is an organization of service clubs known as Rotary Clubs located all over the world. It is a secular organization open to all persons regardless of race, color, creed, gender, or political preference. There are 33,976 clubs and over 1.22 million members worldwide.
The members of Rotary Clubs are known as Rotarians. The stated purpose of the organization is to bring together business and professional leaders to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. Members usually meet weekly for breakfast, lunch or dinner, which is a social event as well as an opportunity to organize work on their service goals.
